About Nick

Hi, I'm Nick! I'm a game developer, designer, and the founder of World Away Games.

After 10 years leading teams of project managers, consultants and account managers at a successful FinTech company, I founded World Away Games in 2021 and fulfilled a lifelong goal of transitioning into the games industry.

Since then, I’ve developed and released 11 indie games, and supported some AA games via freelance work too.

I’m currently developing Deep Space Tavern, a minimalist management game set for release in late 2024. And, I’m lucky to be one of eight studios in the 2024 cohort of Games London Accelerator Programme.

I am also open to work-for-hire and freelancing contracts. If you need help building your project from scratch in Unity or with programming / design support, please drop me a message below!
